Keeping the Fun Alive: The Newest Attractions of Sentosa Island

Sentosa BeachSentosa Island isn’t called The State of Fun for no reason—it is full of exciting attractions that everyone can enjoy. But, of course, to keep the guests craving for fun, Sentosa continuously improves its offerings and even adds attractions on site. In fact, here are some new activities you can enjoy the next time you set foot on Sentosa Island:

Bungee Jump at AJ Hackett Sentosa

AJ Hackett Sentosa officially opened its doors to thrill-seekers last November 2017. Singapore’s first-ever 50m-tall bungee tower was developed by AJ Hackett, the New Zealand entrepreneur that pioneered the extreme sport of bungee jumping. The bungee tower will surely become one of the most interesting places to visit in Singapore. After all, it attracts the youth and those who simply want to check bungee jumping off their bucket list. Besides the tower, this attraction also includes two giant swings, a vertical skywalk, and a skybridge vertigo experience—all are meant to dare adrenaline junkies.

Experience More Twists and Turns with Skyline Luge Sentosa’s New Tracks

With two exciting tracks, Skyline Luge Sentosa has been a mainstay in Sentosa for 12 years now. But, last October 2017, this attraction added two new tracks, bringing the total number of tracks to four. The two new tracks promise more hairpin corners and long, challenging slopes for visitors to enjoy. Another new feature in this attraction is the Skyride chairlift. This chairlift will reduce the waiting time for luge rides as it will transport guests from Siloso Beach to the starting point of luge on top of Imbiah Lookout in just a matter of minutes.

Apart from these new attractions, the Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC) launched a tender this year for a new outdoor attraction that will combine nature with adventure elements to provide a whole new level of fun to the youth, families, and thrill-seekers.  In addition, SDC confirmed it is working on its 2030 master plan for the island to make the area more attractive and, of course, keep the fun alive in Sentosa.
